Bryant & Stratton College (WI) Wrestling Is Back
WAUWATOSA, Wis. — Bryant & Stratton College (WI) is proud to announce that Omar Hamdan had been named the new leader of its wrestling program.
“This group of hardworking, passionate athletes behind him, we’re building something special. This isn’t just a team—it’s a family, and we’re coming to compete,” Hamdan said.
Leading the charge is Zach Clark, a standout from New Berlin High School, who made an appearance at nationals in Iowa last season. With unfinished business and a chip on his shoulder, Clark is laser-focused and his work ethic, leadership, and dominance on the mat will set the tone for the entire program.
Joining Zach is a new wave of high-caliber athletes:
- Nathan Mielke (Wauwatosa East HS): Known for his quickness and technical precision, Nathan brings focus and fire that will make him a force this season.
- Teagan Simpson (Oregon HS): One of the program’s newest female wrestlers, Teagan brings fierce pace and pride, helping lead the way in building women’s wrestling at Bryant & Stratton.
- Michael Curly (Fort Atkinson HS): With explosive energy and fearless grit, Michael thrives in high-pressure situations and brings a no-nonsense edge to the mat.
- Cohen Schmidt (Johnson Creek HS): A disciplined and driven wrestler with a solid foundation and a thirst for victory, Cohen is a cornerstone in the making.
- Ian O’Conner (Illini Bluffs HS, IL): Blending speed, awareness, and aggressive mat control, Ian’s balanced style makes him a serious threat to opponents.
- Devan Biersack (Waukesha South HS): With unmatched discipline and relentless drive, Devan has already shown he’s built for the next level and ready to compete with the best.
