WAUWATOSA, WI (September 13, 2018) - After going 1-3 at the Rochester Invitational, the Bryant & Stratton College volleyball team earned a 3-0 victory over Harry S. Truman on Wednesday winning each set 25-1, 25-9, and 25-9. The Bobcats move to 6-5 overall and 4-2 in region competition.

Getting off to a strong start, the Bobcats were rolling early as Evelis Vicenty caputed 14 service aces in set one to put the Falcons away quickly 25-1.

In sets two and three, the Bobcats rallied towards the backend to keep the Falcons in single digits.

Posting a .553 K% with just four errors, Bobcats head coach, Heather Curley, is very pleased with how the team responded after the weekend tournament.

"We saw some strong competition over the weekend and now know where we need to be as a team moving forward" Curley said. "We started the seasonw with only six players and played 11 matches in two weeks. With the additions of Baryah (Baryah Johnson) and Ashley (Ashley Weimann) now we have some depth to help give rest to everyone," Curley said.

Leading the way for the Bobcats with 11 kills was Kyenna Stanley-Reckin followed by Andrea Miranda with eight kills and Gabriela Lopez with three kills and three digs.

Evelis Vicenty added 23 assists and three digs.
