MILWAUKEE — The Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has selected Bryant & Stratton College’s Brandon Siska as its Junior College Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year.

He helped the Bobcats achieve a 21-9 overall record during the 2023-24 season. Siska also led the program to its winningest season in history during the 2022-23 campaign and helped it reach the national tournament for the third time. 

Siska will be entering his third season as Bryant & Stratton’s women’s basketball coach later this year and will aim to build off a 50-16 overall record. 

Prior to Bryant & Stratton, Siska coached at Lake Mills High School, where he led the girls basketball program to two state title appearances, winning a title in 2021. His first head coaching position was at Draughn High School in North Carolina.

“It’s an honor to receive the WBCA Coach of the Year award,” Siska said. “This recognition belongs to the entire team, specifically Coach Mal and our dedicated players. Their hard work and teamwork made this achievement possible. Thank you for your relentless effort and commitment to excellence.”
