WAUWATOSA, WI (December 13, 2018) - This weekend, Friday, December 14 and Saturday, December 15, Bryant & Stratton College-Athletics will be hosting the inaugural 2018 Women's Basketball Bobcat Classic.
The Bobcat Classic marks as the first tournament hosted by Bryant & Stratton in the college's history.
The classic consists of high level basketball programs in Owen's Community College, Kirkwood Community College, Joliet Junior College and of course, the host of Bryant & Stratton College.
"This will be two days of extremely talented basketball programs playing against each other," Bobcats head coach Jeff Lorenz said.
On Friday, the opening day of the classic, Bryant & Stratton will take on Joliet Junior College for a region iv game at 5:00pm. The Bobcats currently stand at 7-4 overall while Joliet leads the way in the division III level of region iv at 8-3 overall.
Following the BSC vs Joliet game, the #11 ranked Kirkwood Community College Eagles will square off against the Owen's Community College Express (Big E) at 7:00pm. Bobcat Classic Bracket
Conducted in a tournament format, the two team's that win their first game on Friday will move on to compete in the championship game at 3:00pm on Saturday. The losing teams on Friday will compete in the consolation game at 1:00pm prior to the championship game.
The Bobcat Classic will be hosted at the Bloechl Center (Mount Mary University) which is location of all Bobcat home games.
