Bryant & Stratton College (WI) softball ends Florida trip with sweep
Offense explodes in Florida finale
VIERA, Fla. — Bryant & Stratton College (WI) softball closed out its Florida trip in dominant fashion Sunday, with a sweep over Dakota County Technical College and Illinois Central College.
The Bobcats' offense erupted for 35 runs and 31 hits across the two games while the pitching staff delivered another strong performance in the circle.
Game 1: Bryant & Stratton (WI) 16, Dakota County Tech 0
Bryant & Stratton opened the day with a commanding performance, rolling past Dakota County Tech 16–0.
The Bobcats wasted little time getting on the scoreboard in the first inning when Brooke Tennies singled to bring home the game's opening run. Bryant & Stratton continued to build its lead in the second as Sam Foytik doubled before Jenna Beaudin worked a walk and Jayda Karls followed with an RBI single.
The offense continued to roll in the third inning as the Bobcats capitalized on a pair of errors and a double by Tennies to extend the lead.
Sarah Bystra turned in a dominant performance in the circle, tossing a five-inning no-hitter while striking out four and walking one to earn the win.

Game 2: Bryant & Stratton (WI) 19, Illinois Central 7
The Bobcats carried their offensive momentum into game two, erupting for 19 runs over No. 16-ranked Illinois Central College.
Illinois Central struck first with a three-run opening inning, but Bryant & Stratton responded with six runs in the third inning to take control of the game. The Cougars answered with a two-run in their half of the third, but the Bobcats brought more runs across.
Bryant & Stratton sealed the victory with a six-run seventh inning. Bella Umentum started the rally with an RBI single, while Fietz and Tennies each delivered run-scoring hits as the Bobcats capitalized on a pair of Illinois Central errors.
Beaudin led the offensive effort, going 4-for-4 with four RBIs. Fietz, Umentum, Morgan Larsen, and Evelyn Rhodes also recorded multiple hits as Bryant & Stratton finished with 16 hits.
Delilah Abundiz started in the circle before Jazmine Karls provided a strong relief appearance, tossing 3⅔ innings while allowing two runs and striking out four. Kylie Stark also pitched 2⅔ innings in relief.
