VIERA, Fla. — Bryant & Stratton College (WI) softball split a pair of games Friday, falling to Miles Community College 14–7 before bouncing back with a 13–2 win over Monroe Community College.
The Bobcats combined for 20 runs across the two games, showcasing offensive production throughout the day.
Game 1: Miles CC 14, Bryant & Stratton (WI) 7
Bryant & Stratton jumped out to an early lead but could not hold off a mid-game surge from Miles Community College in a 14–7 loss.
The Bobcats struck first in the opening inning, scoring three runs behind productive at-bats from Brooke Tennies, Morgan Larsen, and Kylie Reed. Bryant & Stratton added another run in the second on an RBI single from Olivia Fietz before extending the lead in the third when Jenna Beaudin delivered a two-run single to make it 6–0.
Miles responded in the fourth inning, highlighted by a game-tying home run, before taking control in the fifth with a go-ahead RBI single. From there, Miles continued to add on and pull away.

Game 2: Bryant & Stratton (WI) 13, Monroe CC 2
The Bobcats responded in dominant fashion in game two, using a seven-run second inning to power past Monroe Community College, 13–2.
Bryant & Stratton broke the game open in the second inning with timely hitting and patience at the plate. Samantha Foytik delivered an RBI single, Taetum Hoesly added a two-run single, and Fietz contributed another run-scoring hit as the Bobcats surged ahead.
The offense added on in the third before putting the game away with a five-run fifth inning, capitalizing on errors and productive outs to extend the lead.
Kylie Stark turned in a strong outing in the circle, tossing five innings while allowing two runs (one earned) and striking out six to earn the win.
