WAUWATOSA, WI (March 27, 2019) - The Bryant & Stratton College softball hosted their home opener on Wednesday against Kishwaukee College where they split the double header with a 5-2 loss in game one and an 11-3 win in game two.

The victory gave the Bobcats their first region win of the season as well as improved them to 5-15 on the season. 

Game one vs Kishwaukee College (5-3 Loss)

Brianna Zook (Fr.) led the way for the Bobcats with three hits and three RBI's followed by Heather Anderson (So.) and Kelly Schiller (Fr.) each with one hit. 

Starting pitcher Alyssa Hild threw 6.2 innings giving up two earned runs while striking out three. 

Game two vs Kishwaukee College (11-3 Win)

The bats were hot for the Bobcats in game two as the team totaled 13 hits and seven RBI's.

Brooke Masi (So.) finished the game with three hits, two runs and one RBI followed by Ashley Weimann (Fr.) producing three hits and two RBI's.

Anderson had two hits while Olivia Miller (Fr.), Schiller, Hild, Samantha Flannery (Fr.) and Mercedes Griesbach (Fr.) each finished with one hit.

Starting pitcher Griesbach threw 6.0 innings giving up two earned runs.

Bryant & Stratton will stay at home this weekend as they host Gogebic Community College on Friday.

The first pitch of game one will be thrown at 3:00pm.
