MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA — Despite a cold offensive performance, the Bobcats came together and defeated the Marshalltown Community College Tigers 54-44, for their third straight win.
How it Happened: Marshalltown Community College jumped out to a 11-0 lead to begin the game, but a layup by Matt Juergens stopped the run. The lid was on the hoop for the Tigers but not for the Bobcats as they outscored Marshalltown 11-6 to close the gap to four at the break.

Coming out of the break, the Bobcats found their stride with an 11-0 run of their own in the opening three minutes. There was an all-out effort to win the game, and with 7:47 remaining on the clock, the Bobcats held a 34-29 lead when Vontez Dent recorded a key three-point play to give the Bobcats an eight-point lead. With under three minutes to play, Bryant & Stratton held a 15-point lead and they'd stay in front until triple zeros were on the clock.
