Bobcats take down No.14 WolfPack on road
10-0 run in closing minutes helps Bobcats capture third straight win
MADISON, Wis. — Bryant & Stratton men's basketball traveled to Madtown to take on the No. 14-ranked Madison Wolfpack. The Bobcats pulled off their fifth consecutive win against Madison, winning 70-65.
How it Happened: The Bobcats and Wolfpack momentum throughout a tightly contested matchup. Madison seemed to grab momentum in the first five minutes grabbing a seven-point lead, the Bobcats stormed back to grab a four-point lead (23-19) through the next ten minutes.
The first half ended with the Bobcats holding a 34-28 lead.
Jaylen Murphy led the Bobcats with 12 points, Aaron Bickham added five and Demajh Salisbery added six.
Following the halftime break, Bryant & Stratton's offense went quiet following the opening eight minutes, scoring just four points. Madison stayed in front for most of the way until the 3:33 mark. With a layup by Salisbery, the Bobcats cut Madison's lead to five and they would go on a 10-0 run to seal the game.
Stats:
- Salisbery led the way with 22 points. He also recorded three steals
- Vontez Dent finished with 11 points, eight rebounds and two steals
- Murphy had 16 and three steals
- Karter Seawright grabbed eight boards too
