Bobcats slug their way past Braves
Wagner's two-run shot powers Bobcats into super regionals
MOLINE, ILL - Bryant & Stratton College - Wisconsin baseball outslugged Black Hawk in an offensive showdown, earning a 13-10 victory.
Bryant & Stratton jumped ahead early when Elery Hardwick ripped a two-run double in the first inning. The Bobcats added three more runs in the second behind a sacrifice fly from Calvin Hurtgen and Macay Wagner's two-run triple before extending the lead again in the third on a two-run single from Bradyn Nelson.

Black Hawk answered with a huge fourth inning, scoring seven runs on six hits to take a 9-8 lead. But the Bobcats were not going away quietly.
The Bobcats regained control in the sixth when Wagner's two-run homer put Bryant & Stratton back on top for good at 10-9.

Roethle earned the win in relief, allowing one run on three hits over 3.1 innings while striking out three. Lingford also provided a key scoreless inning out of the bullpen and helped the Bobcats advance to their first super regionals.
