Bryant & Stratton College hand Morton College loss
OCONOMOWOC, Wis. — The Bryant & Stratton College baseball team was scheduled to play a doubleheader with the Morton College Panthers. However, due to the weather, both squads could only get through to one game before the second game was called. Here are the highlights of the Bobcats' win.
Alex Breckheimer took the mound in the first game and he posted back-to-back 1-2-3 innings. This allowed the Bobcats to open the scoring, and they'd do just that.
Jedvier Garcia opened the bottom of the second with a walk and Ashton Kampa hit a double, bringing him in. Bryant & Stratton also brought in another run and led by two runs. The Panthers tied the game in the top of the third and they eventually took the lead in the fifth. That lead didn't last long as the Bobcats tacked on five runs highlighted by home runs by Ryan Weed and Sean Reilly. Weed homered again in the bottom of the sixth, this time smashing a three-run shot.
Brayden Thompson, who entered the game in the top of the sixth, closed the game out and allowed just one hit. The Bobcats won the game 10-4.
