WAUWATOSA, WI (May 6, 2019) - The Bryant & Stratton College baseball team (10-25) completed their second season in program history on Saturday with a come from behind victory in game two of the double header over the #14 ranked McHenry County College Scots. The Bobcats suffered a 27-2 loss to College of DuPage on Friday and lost a tight battle 4-0 in game one vs McHenry on Saturday.

The Bobcats concluded their season with a record of 8-17 in region play. 

Game vs College of DuPage (27-3 Loss)

Leighton Myers (So.) tossed two innings allowing eight earned runs.

David Paleo (So.) produced the Bobcats only hit of the game.

Game 1 vs McHenry County College (4-0 Loss)

Eloy Puentes (Fr.) threw all seven innings allowing four earned runs while striking out three batters. 

Pedro Chayeb (Fr.) led the way for the Bobcats with two hits.

Game 2 vs McHenry County College (8-7 Win)

The Bobcats trailed 7-1 and rallied to score seven runs in the bottom of the sixth to take a 8-7 lead.

Keanu Walkush (So.) tossed seven innings allowing two earned runs while striking out six batters. 

Parker Walker (So.) producd two hits and two RBI's followed by Leighton Myers with two hits and one RBI.

Season Team Statistics:

The Bobcats finished the year going 5-11 at home and 5-14 on the road. The team tallied 164 runs on the season and finished with a .246 batting average. 

In just year-two of existence, Bryant & Stratton improved their win total from last year by eight. 

Program Highlights:

Bryant & Stratton took their first-ever spring break trip to San Antonio, Texas where they played six games in four days. The Bobcats earned two victories on the trip with an 11-7 win over Schriener University and a 16-12 win over Southwestern University. 

Region IV Playoffs:

Bryant & Stratton came up short in making a playoff appearance.

Next Season:

With two seasons completed, Zolecki and his staff will continue on the recruiting trail as they prepare for an exciting 2020 season.
