Bio
Birling brings more than 30 years of coaching experience and nearly three decades of business leadership to the role. He spent 20 years coaching baseball and softball at Menasha High School, including 10 years as the varsity baseball head coach. He also managed the Menasha Macs, a semi-professional baseball team, for five years and went on to serve 10 years as a head high school baseball coach. He currently remains connected to student-athlete development as an assistant softball coach at Bryant & Stratton.
In addition to his coaching career, Birling has spent 27 years in the auto glass industry, including extensive experience leading a large sales team that generated more than $100 million annually. His background in leadership, operations, and team development provides a strong foundation for his role in collegiate athletics administration.
