The Waukesha native, Montes comes from Waukesha South High School where he competed on the varsity program for four seasons.

"Jorge is a very creative player," Wilhelmi said. "His play possesses flair and he is always looking to play and score with elegance."

Montes also competed on the competitive club program FC Wisconsin in the offseasons throughout his high school career.

"Jorge is one of the best local signing in his year and we are blessed to have him."
