WAUWATOSA, WI (March 29, 2019) - The Bryant & Stratton College baseball team traveled to Rockford, IL on Thursday where they earned a 1-1 split in the double header against Rock Valley Community College.

Bryant & Stratton suffered a 4-0 loss in game one but recovered with a 5-4 win in game two.

The Bobcats now improve to 4-9 on the season.

Game one vs Rock Valley College (4-0 Loss)

The bats were cold for the Bobcats in game one as they produced just five total hits.

David Paleo (So.) finished with two hits followed by Nick Perez (So.) with two hits.

Kyle Taran (So.) produced one hit.

Starting pitcher Dominick Meyer threw 6.0 innings striking out seven and allowed four earned runs.

Game one vs Rock Valley College (5-4 Loss)

After a scoreless game one, the Bobcats got on the board in the top of the third in game two scoring one run to trail 3-1.

In the top of the sixth, the Bobcats trailed 4-2 before Perez doubled on a line drive to center field bringing in two runs to take a 5-4 lead and win the game.

Perez led the way for the Bobcats with one hit and two RBI's.

Alec Spang (Fr.) finished with one hit and one RBI followed by Ryan Kalinowski (So.) with one hit and one RBI.

Starting pitcher Parker Walker (So.) threw 6.2 innings striking out two.

Bryant & Stratton will host Bay College for their home opener on Saturday. 

First pitch for game one will be thrown at 12:00pm.
